This sculptural piece is inspired by Robert Indiana's famouse LOVE sculpture in Philadelphia. The lettering of are drawn from the etched "ONE" lettering design on the 1 dollar bill.
The front surface is melted and dipped in latex paint to accentuate the deformation of the lettering. On the back surface, the etched grid lines are kept in tact. This piece resembles our capitalistic society's trust in the federal reserve is slowly fading and away as we experience inflation.
